this star facility of google makes content more powerful and it would further add to the votes of SEO specialists right? Because, the rest of the search results will have to go a few lines down in the google search page.

Here’s the answer form Google on that.
” Stars in search replace SearchWiki. In our testing, we learned that people really liked the idea of marking a website for future reference, but they didn’t like changing the order of Google’s organic search results.”
