		<description>@albertofao
If you are referring to a wordpress.com blog then we do not have FTP access to our blogs and cannot upload plugins or anything else into them. So the social bookmarking plugins that are available for wordpress.ORG installs cannot be used by wordpress.com bloggers. That&#039;s why this shortcode has been developed.

At wordpress.com we cannot access, let alone, edit the templates that underlay our themes as this is a multi-user blogging platform. In this shared environment all blogs with the same theme are, in essence, using the same template. Consequently, only Staff can access those files and edit them as whatever editing they do will be reflected on all blogs using the same theme. Additionally not all bloggers using the same theme want the same social bookmarks to automatically appear on their posts.

Lastly, if you have heard the silly rumor that&#039;s circulating that purchasing an annually renewable CSS editing upgrade would allow you to include coding in the CSS that will automatically produce social bookmarks like the tweetmeme button on every post, then you have been misinformed. CSS editing cannot be used to do this. The only way this could be accomplished is if Staff edited the templates that we cannot access.

Setting all that aside it takes only a few moments to add the shortcode to every post. :)</description>
