What you are referring to is what’s in this article http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/01/15/wordpress-com-allows-adsense/ And “yes” it’s not an offer that most bloggers can benefit from simply because most blogs do not have the required number of page views. By limiting the offer they will be able to keep the wordpress.com site splog and spam free, unlike free hosted Blogger (blogspot) blogs.
