If you are a wordpress.com blogger looking for a way update your Facebook fan page automatically whenever you publish a blog entry there are several methods you can use. Here are five of them, and if I have not included an method that you use then please comment and provide details.
Method 1
Log into Facebook and go to your fan page. Then click on the edit page button below the pic box in the top left corner. Scroll down to the Facebook applications and look for notes and click edit. Then click on the import blog and put in your info. It’s the exact same as doing it for your personal profile, just under the fan page editing area.
Method 2
The Facebook application RSS Graffiti automatically posts snippets of your WP posts to your wall, and friends have to click the link and go to your blog to view the whole article.
Update:
Thank you for mentioning RSS Graffiti on your list. It’s been just 4 months since its launch and we are aways glad to discover so many people adopting it and mentioning it.
Since I am here allow me to add that RSS Graffiti will embed video and audio in the stories posted on the Facebook stream if any are available in your feeds as media enclosures.
RSS Graffiti is also -possibly- the only application that can write from RSS feeds to the news stream (wall) of Facebook Groups which I think is important for the administrators of the recently upgraded Facebook Groups.
Thanks again for the mention!
We’ll be glad to hear your (and your reader’s) feedback.

Method 3
Use http://getsociallive.com social bookmarks on your posts and the update will be automatic every time you publish.
Method 3

Method 4
In Facebook, Add Networkblogs application. Then add your feed to it on your profile. When you publish on your WordPress.com blog, it will update in the stream on Facebook and your wall.
Method 5

Months ago I went through some of the solutions you’re proposing, and in the end I decided to use Networkblogs application, and it’s been really working as expected since then.

I’ve been looking for a way to automatically publish to my Facebook fan page, because I’ve been manually posting the links each time. I like to have a thumbnail with the posts, so I wasn’t interested in the first couple methods listed. I do have the GetSocial bookmarks at the end of my posts, but I am unfamiliar with GetSocial Live!. So, it updates automatically? How does this work? I tried reviewing their site and couldn’t see how it was different from the previous GetSocial.

I got the information from raincoaster here http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/automatic-facebook-and-google-group-update?replies=15#post-400210 I think you will have to contact the person who created getsocial in order to get an answer to: how does it work?

Hi T3ck and thanks for the visit. :) There are quite a few forum volunteers, who have quietly made great contributions, tricks, tweaks, work-arounds, and I intend to start featuring them and backlinking. :)

Hi Timethief – this really is a totally useful blog, each time i look at a blog post I open 3 or 4 more useful links of info!
I noticed someone else commented they use network blogs for their facebook page, I do as well to import the RSS of my image gallery on red bubble. My question to you (if you dont mind) is “Do you know if it is possible to add more than one import to a fan page?” For example if I wanted to continue to import my photos as blog entries but also import my wordpress blog (which currently I import as notes via the RSS on my own account but not the fan page)?
many thanks
Suzy

Thanks so much for the blog compliment. I don’t have a answer for your question because I choose not to be a Facebook member. Hopefully, one of my readers will have an answer for you.

Thanks Timethief, I use Networkblogs, I like the way it works. I’ve also imported earlier posts via the notes section, great tip!

Just want to say thank you so much! The notes/facebook option will save me loads of time. Was having to post manually on my iphone all the time which really sucked! Plus my other admins didn’t get how to post. Now it’s automatic. TY!!!

Personally, I continue to have trouble getting blog posts to appear on our fan page either in a timely fashion or at all while using the Facebook/Notes RSS feed option. I will explore your other solutions, as I am fed up with trying to get Facebook’s own internal system to work. Thanks.

Hi,
You were able to help me out yesterday getting a wordpress blog to appear on a Facebook fanpage. I’m having an issue with it today and wondered if you might help. I go into notes on FB and tell it to import the blog. It does it one time, but does not save it. The next time I go into notes, it says:
Notes Settings
You are not importing notes from an external blog.
If I go ahead and set up a link to my blog http://myblog.wordpress.com/feed/
it will pull in the new posts, but won’t keep pulling them.
Any ideas?
