I also have a question for #3: do you mean posting about controversial topics in whatever; politics, fashion, religion, ect?

Hello there. I will be developing each of these points more fully in the new year in separate posts.
With regard to number 5, as you sell domains you must be aware that older sites are respected more by Google than newly founded sites are. Simply stated an old, established site has a performance record, and is considered to be more trustworthy (they have been around and are here to stay) than a new site that has just popped up and might soon disappear.
Consequently, when we are purchasing a domain, we are advised that whenever possible the best course of action is to purchase it for longer than 1 year.

Thanks for the article. I have done the blog and rss directory submissions in the past. I feel the RSS directory submissions are a way to really broaden your audience. Although, I haven’t tried squidoo or hubpages, I do post on the Knol. There are a great deal of resources in this post alone. Thanks, again.

Blogging is a strange thing; if I want to write about something, first I have to care about popularity, does it makes sense to post this topic, linkbuilding..?! Wow… On the other hand, if I write and don’t care about these things, must it really end up in a dead blog, a site without attention? So many things happen coincidentially… So, it’s in my mind, if I care about so many technical things, will it not eat up precious time I rather spend with writing or a project and finally is it better to be ‘old fashioned’ and to try the harder way – or should I follow ‘instructions’? Confusing internet…
Anyway, I’m right at the very bginning of my ‘blogger-career’, have to make my own experiences yet. So I say Thank you! for the hints at all and I hope I’ll find out, which one do work for me ;)
Right now I’m about to find out, how can blogging help to bring a weird idea over to peoples. It’s a gallery which will feature only NOSES. So I can see, how the ‘blogging-tool’ works, later I may use these experiences for ‘serious’ websites too?!
