  3. Great article marketing resources. We believe perception is King online, but content is the driver for sure…

    • @Yuan Yu
I agree. Content is king and marketing is queen, and unless bloggers are astute enough to recognize the need for both they will never be successful.

  4. Great list. Thanks for the info about these free article sites. I actually visit some of them regularly. The others I get free content for some of my blogs. I make all the links active though as stated in the TOS.

  5. Thank you so much for getting back to me. After hours of trying, I finally got there before your message, but many thanks anyway.I did try the WordPress FAQ but did not find their explanation that straightforward.

Anyway, thank God I bumped into your site.

    • Hi Vikas,
I’m happy you liked this post. Given how difficult it is to obtain one way non-reciprocal backlinks, I do expect that more bloggers will be taking the article writing route to gain them in the near future.

  6. How did you get to be so smart and knowledgeable? There’s no time i read your blog that i don’t learn something new. I’m definitely going to pore over those sites to improve my writing. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and information.

    • Hello there. Thanks for the compliment. I’m glad to hear you found what you needed in my blog and also to hear that you will be back.
      Happy blogging

  7. I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

  8. A great resource page here, as you know I am an advocate of article marketing. There is no better way to put you site on the map and drive targeted traffic to your pages.

  9. Hi Time Thief, I suggest amazings.com. The best I have found! They are true blue and a writers friend!
Thanks for all of the wonderful information here. You are just super. :)
    Keep up the fanastic work!

  10. Thanks for the useful information. I want to submit some of my posts on creative writing to the above sites.

  11. Interesting post. I have been using article marketing for a long time, and I can honestly say it’s been one of the most valuable marketing tools I’ve had to date. It, alone, probably got me my 3 PR, seeing that I did no other type of marketing before I got a PR, save article marketing only.

Anyway- I’ve used Ezinearticles, goarticles, articlemarketor, and articledashboard. Honestly- ezinearticles is the only one that is doing me any good. Maybe I’m getting some backlinks from the other ones, but ezinearticles is the only one that actually sends me traffic.

Google Knol is one I’ve been trying lately. Any takes on it?

    • @financialnut
Hello there. I haven’t heard of Google Knol so I’ll be interested to hear any feedback you get on it. I have also heard that ezine articles is the one that most bloggers derive traffic from. They limit the number of articles you can submit when you first begin.

New EzineArticles.com Members Are Allowed 10 Initial Article Submissions. If Your Articles Meet Our Quality Standards, You May Qualify To Earn Platinum Status (Allows Unlimited Article Submissions)

Thanks for commenting and best wishes with your blogging. :)

      • Thanks, TT.

I haven’t been impressed at all with Google Knol so far. They don’t have any editors looking over your articles when you submit them, so essentially people could submit a bunch of crap and get it listed. Apparently there has been a lot of spam going through it, as it isn’t regulated too well.

A bit surprising coming from a Google product.

The articles are, however, getting indexed now so hopefully I’m going to get some credit from the back links.

I’m sticking with Ezinearticles. After have written close to 40 articles for those guys, I’ve been extremely happy with them.

        • Thanks for getting back to me on GoogleKnol. Best wishes on your Ezine articles. If you don’t mind I’d like to hear back from you one how many backlinks you actually achieve from them. However, we can keep that between us and not publish that information if you don’t wish to.

          • That’s fine. Just remind me. I may forget! I’ll be happy to give you some of my results and let you know how it does.

I just can’t imagine a Google product being so terrible, you know?!
