After a couple of weeks of appointments with this specialist and that specialist I now am awaiting the arrival of an expensive but also, priceless package.
In it will be two pairs of eyeglasses and when I wear them I will be able to see better. In fact, I will see well enough to be able to read books again. YAY!
I will be wearing one pair of glasses all of the time. The other is strictly for working in front of the computer so I’ll have no excuse for not keeping up with reading your blogs, commenting and sending you link love. ;-)
Hello Time-Thief, i’m happy to here your getting your glasses. I just found out today that I have a brain tumor so I won’t be posting that much because I have a allot of a pointments coming up to take care of the brain tumor so i don’t go blind since the tumor is by my optic nerve.
Teck :)
Congratulations!! I know the feeling of not being able to really see or just the eye strain that keeps us from really being able to sit and read and write like we used to. That’s how it’s been for me and I believe it must be due to needing a new script.
I can feel your excitement and I know how excited you must be – especially if you’re as big a bookreader as I am.
Wishing you peace, serenity and tranquility today.

@Teck
Think positively. My optic nerve was injured in an accident but I still can see and now I will be able to see better. We do not know what’s around the next bend in our lives but the best way to face whatever it is is straight on. Please keep me up to date. {HUG}
@rubyshooz
I have always loved reading but I haven’t been able to read much for quite awhile now. I will also be able to see to blog much better than I do now and I expect that the headaches will also abate. You’re right — I’m excited. :-)
Namaste
Perhaps you recall a recent post of mine with a pic of the glasses I stepped on in the middle of the night. My only pair. I had to go without for nearly two weeks until the replacements arrived, reminding me how awful it must be to see the world through an aquarium all the time.
The main pair are graduated bifocals and the second are reading glasses. The bifocals are a lot easier to get used to that I was warned they’d be. What I still can’t get over is the price. With the exchange rate, they cost more than my first car did. :-)
These two pairs of glasses are actually worth more than my van is worth. They are the most expensive personal items I have ever purchased. :-)
Hurray! I’m happy for you. Whatever the cost, I know it’ll be worth it.
Thanks for your good wishes Robert. Sight is precious.
Sight is priceless and I will be money-less for sometime to come but I will be able to see — YES!
Where has my comment gone ?
@Root,
Ahemmmm … this was cross-posted from elsewhere so without going into any depth here about where — that’s your answer. ;-) TT
I wondered the same thing about my comment. Perhaps TT has something against the English. It’s a conspiracy! Or something…
@Collin
This is not my only blog and I do not wish my blogs to be connected. The post above was cross posted and Root located his comment elsewhere.
Please read what I said and wait for the lightbulb moment Collin. :-D))
