SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization and this 1 hour blogging tips and blogging tools lecture is all about ways to make your Web site rank higher in Google and the other search engines.

This is a video of the one hour long lecture given by Matt Cutts of Technorati at the WordCamp 2007 conference in San Francisco, CA on the topic of Whitehat SEO tips for Bloggers.

This was the last session filmed on July 21, 2007 from 5pm-6pm at the Swedish American Hall in San Francisco.

    have to perform search engine optimization (SEO). If your website was built
    without search engine optimization “in mind”, it will probably not appear in

    (Keywords) – You need to choose
    WHICH keywords you want your website to focus on for potential search engine
    listings. It can be better to focus on achievable high rankings
    (moderately searched specific terms), than for high rankings for keywords that
    are ultra-competitive or too general. Focus on getting “some” high
    ranking results and then shoot for more popular terms over
