RSS Import Xanga and MovableType Blogs to WordPress

What is Xanga? Xanga is a community where you can start your own free weblog. From time to time bloggers who want to move their xanga blogs to wordpress.com appear on the support forum asking for assistance but it seems that Xanga does not have a blog contents exporter.

Staff have advised that an importer for the self-hosted wordress.org was made and these bloggers could export from a self-hosted wordpress.org blog into a wordpress.com free hosted blog.

Xanga

xanga.r is a program that parses xanga pages to get the post and comments. Then it can output them in the WordPress rss 2.0 xml format for WordPress to import.
